    Description

    Here for sale is this Norm Thompson Ultimate Bamboo fly rod  .  While attributed to Farlow, they were actually made by their subsidiary JS Sharpe in Aberdeen, Scotland . I think the Midge must be closely related to the Lee Wulff rod which Sharpe made. Here's a page from the 1970 Farlow Export Catalogue for context ( see Photos) While attributed to Farlow, they were actually made by their subsidiary JS Sharpe in Aberdeen, Scotland . The Lee Wulff Midge rod is exactly the same length and weight 6 ft. 1 7/8 oz. This rod is in like new condition and comes in the correct bag and tube . Feel free to ask any questions
